In July of this year, MEC, along with its subsidiary Xanik, was acquired by OPW, a Dover Corporation company. Following the acquisition, Xanik has been integrated into OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions’ Chemical & Industrial Equipment business unit.
As part of its new corporate alignment, Xanik has introduced a refreshed company logo to symbolise its place within the OPW family. The updated brand identity reflects Xanik’s ambition to elevate its global presence and reinforce its commitment to delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient valve solutions to customers worldwide.

Founded in 1983 as Xanor de México S.A. de C.V., Xanik has spent over four decades establishing itself as a leading provider of specialty and critical-service valves. Its products are used in demanding applications such as refining, HF alkylation, power generation, chemical and petrochemical processing, LNG, mining, and fertiliser production. The company is widely recognised for its innovative designs and dedication to sustainable manufacturing practices.
The new logo marks a significant step in Xanik’s journey as it continues to focus on providing advanced fluid-handling solutions to a diverse global customer base while upholding its legacy of quality and reliability.
