As the Chemical Business Association continues to grow and expand, they have recently welcomed the latest addition to their team in the form of Lisa Robertson.

Lisa joins the association in the newly created role of supply chain lead and will focus on matters such as logistics, transport and warehousing, adding further resources to support and represent the member’s needs.

Working most recently as the customer cervices solutions manager at Rhenus Logistics UK, Lisa will bring to the association her a wealth of knowledge on global logistics, operations and customs as well as warehousing and the carriage of dangerous goods.

Tim Doggett, chief executive said: “We represent the complete chemical supply chain and logistics has become an increasingly important part of the supply chain for our members. Having Lisa join us with her wealth of knowledge will undoubtedly strengthen not only the technical department, but the association as a whole.”

Douglas Leech, technical director said, “I am really looking forward to working with Lisa. She is coming into the association at just the right time as there is so much for her to get her teeth stuck into and to work on.”

Lisa said: “As a person, I love learning and gaining new skills and knowledge, but the best part of this new role is the ability to pass on my knowledge to other people. There is no better feeling than supporting and helping people when they need it.”
