The Tank Storage Association (TSA), in partnership with Insights Global, has released the 2026 edition of its Annual Review, providing a comprehensive assessment of the bulk storage and energy infrastructure sector’s performance during 2025.
The report offers detailed analysis of industry activity, including developments in terminal operations, process safety, occupational health and safety, and the sector’s economic contribution to the UK. It also presents global tank storage data, covering capacity expansions, construction projects, regional storage capacity, market share distribution, and throughput trends.

According to TSA, the publication highlights the strategic role the bulk storage and energy infrastructure sector plays in supporting both domestic and international supply chains. The sector serves a broad range of stakeholders, including industrial operators, residential consumers, and global trading networks, while facilitating the safe and efficient storage and movement of essential products.
