Oman LNG has signed a 10-year Sale and Purchase Agreement with Mercuria, a leading Switzerland-based trading company, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable and sustainable energy to global markets.

Under the agreement, Oman LNG will supply liquefied natural gas to Mercuria on a free on board basis, with deliveries of 800,000 metric tonnes per annum set to begin in April 2025. This long-term partnership highlights Oman LNG’s strategic role as a key LNG supplier, contributing to the diversification and stability of global energy supplies.

Mercuria, a globally recognised energy trading company, operates across various markets, including crude oil, refined petroleum products, natural gas, power, biodiesel, base metals, and agricultural commodities. This agreement further strengthens Mercuria’s position in the LNG sector and enhances its ability to meet the increasing energy demands of customers worldwide.
