Commenting on its work at Team Terminal, under a picture of the new staircase, Engicon nv (Geldof) said: “It’s not only tank maintenance being performed at Team Terminal!”
Elaborating, it said: “After blasting the stairs and its frame, it turned out that both were not in a good shape, so we were requested by the customer to manufacture a completely new one, immediately adapted to the current standards.”
It continued: “So, after the necessary measurements and engineering, our production started to assemble and paint two pieces of stairs of 14m, while the A-frame was built on site.”
In conclusion it said: “At the beginning of September, we had ‘the’ moment suprême: would everything fit together? Of course it did (as you can see on the picture)!”
