Ewart Cox, managing director of Assentech Sales Limited, is proud to host customers from the nuclear sector for a demonstration of high-performance valves. With years of experience in the tank storage industry, Assentech has established a reputation for delivering quality leadership, and this event is a testament to that commitment.
The Groth Corporation breather valves showcased during the demonstration were selected for their exceptional design integrity, manufacturing excellence, and meticulous attention to detail. Assentech has received commendations for providing full traceability of materials and documentation throughout its operations. However, one of the company’s most notable achievements is its ability to facilitate remote witness testing. By employing a live data feed via Microsoft Teams, inspectors unable to attend in person can still engage in the testing process, ensuring transparency and participation.
The demonstration features a live feed of pressure retention during an ISO 28300/API 2000 test procedure. In addition, Assentech has included its final environmental test, which measures the volume leak rate at 90 percent of the valve’s setting. This test provides a critical benchmark for future maintenance procedures, ensuring that the valves maintain ‘as-new’ functional efficiency throughout their lifecycle.
Assentech has chosen to represent Groth Corporation due to its unwavering commitment to design integrity and quality. In a market where low-cost manufacturers often compromise on quality to provide the cheapest options, Assentech finds it easy to demonstrate that investing in high-quality products yields significant savings for operators. These savings are realised through improved product retention, a safer working environment for staff, and minimal environmental impact, as evidenced by the Vent-Less test bench.
The valves are constructed with features such as high-quality diaphragms, blind casing holes, and precision-spun pallets, all contributing to a product that excels across all performance metrics. Recently, Assentech tested Groth valves that had been in service for over 10 years, and many of these valves passed API 2000 testing before being fully overhauled. This outstanding performance serves as a true testament to the quality and integrity of Groth products.
Ewart Cox’s dedication to showcasing the capabilities of Groth valves highlights Assentech’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the highest industry standards. Through this partnership, Assentech continues to lead the way in delivering exceptional products that ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency in the tank storage industry.
