Endress+Hauser has strengthened its presence in the United States with the opening of two new facilities in Greenwood, Indiana, and Edgmont, Pennsylvania. The expansion reflects the company’s long-term commitment to supporting customers, enhancing regional partnerships, and driving sustainable growth across the US market.
Active in the United States since 1970, Endress+Hauser has grown into one of the country’s leading providers of measurement and automation technology. The company operates production facilities in Greenwood, Indiana; Anaheim and Rancho Cucamonga, California; and Ann Arbor, Michigan. These operations are supported by a nationwide network of company-owned sales and service locations, complemented by long-standing regional representative partners.

The new facilities, officially inaugurated in June 2026, were opened in the presence of customers, business partners, employees, and state and local government representatives. The investment is part of Endress+Hauser’s strategy to strengthen its local presence and deepen collaboration with regional sales and service partners.
According to CEO Peter Selders, the new facilities reinforce the company’s commitment to remaining close to its customers while supporting long-term growth. Supervisory Board President Steven Endress noted that the projects reflect the company’s family-owned values of long-term thinking, reliability, and partnership.
Greenwood facility becomes expanded US headquarters
Endress+Hauser invested approximately €44 million in its new Greenwood, Indiana, facility, which serves as an expansion of the company’s US headquarters. The nearly 9,800-square-metre building also houses the headquarters of long-standing sales and service representative George E. Booth Co., bringing together around 190 employees from both organisations under one roof.
The facility provides modern workspaces for sales, service, project, and solutions teams, as well as central corporate functions. It also features a Design and Innovation Studio dedicated to promoting STEM education and supporting hands-on learning through partnerships with local educational institutions.
Sustainability was a key focus during construction. The building incorporates geothermal heating and cooling, solar panels, rainwater management systems, and other environmentally responsible features, earning Gold certification under the LEED sustainability standard.
Greenwood remains the company’s primary US hub, with production operations for flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurement technologies. The campus employs nearly 670 Endress+Hauser staff, in addition to 75 employees from George E. Booth Co.
New Edgmont site strengthens northeastern operations
In Pennsylvania, Endress+Hauser partnered with long-standing sales and service representative Eastern Controls, LLC to establish a new 8,200-square-metre facility in Edgmont, located west of Philadelphia. Approximately 90 employees from both organisations will provide process measurement technology and automation solutions to customers across a range of industries.
The new site includes an expanded Process Training Unit (PTU), providing practical, hands-on training for customers and industry professionals. It will also host the annual Northeast Community Career+Education Forum (CCEF), an initiative designed to connect middle school students with industry and educational institutions while promoting careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The dual investment further strengthens Endress+Hauser’s US operations, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, customer proximity, workforce development, and sustainable growth in one of its most important global markets.
