The choice:  keep project costs down or think about the bigger picture and make the project as sustainable as possible over its entire life?  Sustainable practices make demonstrably good business sense by maximising long-term value, minimising waste, reducing operating costs and making a more marketable product, through relatively small changes to hazard study processes. The result is far reaching environmental benefits which come hand in hand with enhanced company reputation and brand image.

Speaker
Carolyn Nicholls leads the RAS team of risk and hazard management consultants and has been instrumental in creating the company’s assessment methodologies. Carolyn has experience of working with a large number of UK COMAH sites to develop safety reports and provide support in all aspects of risk management, in particular consequence analysis and risk assessment, and evaluating the economic impact of improvement measures. Working in the areas of safety to people and environment equally.
