Australia Pacific LNG has reaffirmed its commitment to the domestic gas market with the signing of two new supply agreements with Ampol Refineries and Alinta Energy.

The deals will see gas supplied later in 2025 as part of Australia Pacific LNG’s ongoing support for Australian businesses and in alignment with its obligations under the Mandatory Gas Code.

Chief executive officer Dan Clark commented on the agreements, stating:

“These new supply agreements with Ampol and Alinta demonstrate Australia Pacific LNG’s ongoing commitment to supporting Australian businesses. The gas will be supplied later this year and fulfil part of Australia Pacific LNG’s commitments under the Mandatory Gas Code.”

With the addition of these agreements, Australia Pacific LNG’s total committed volume to the East Coast Market for the 2025 calendar year now stands at 128 petajoules (PJ).

As a major supplier to Australia’s east coast gas market, Australia Pacific LNG continues to play a pivotal role in supporting energy needs across the country. In calendar year 2024, the company supplied over 150 PJ of gas—equivalent to approximately 85 percent of Victoria’s annual gas demand.

Australia Pacific LNG’s consistent supply efforts highlight its strategic importance in maintaining energy security and supporting the domestic energy transition.
