ADNOC group are partnering with Siemens Energy to co-develop blockchain technology that will accelerate smarter, more sustainable, energy for all.
Together, ADNOC and Siemens Energy will pilot the use of a blockchain ledger to help certify the carbon intensity of a range of products.
By shining a digital spotlight into their manufacturing processes, they’ll show how energy supplied by ADNOC is among the least carbon intensive in the oil and gas industry.
The agreement with Siemens Energy will also advance other innovations, including “Power-to-X” technologies to produce green hydrogen and its derivatives.
Their scientists will develop these energy transition technologies at the newly refurbished ADNOC Research and Innovation Center in Abu Dhabi.
