As of October 1st, 2024, Standic terminals in Antwerp and Dordrecht have integrated UAB-Online into their operations to improve the efficiency of liquid bulk handling. Both terminals, known for their specialisation in chemicals, oil, and biofuels, are now utilising the UAB-Online platform for the pre-arrival processes of seagoing vessels and inland barges.

For seagoing vessels, Standic has adopted the digital Ship-Shore Safety Checklist, in compliance with ISGOTT 6 standards. This digital checklist streamlines operational and safety inspections, enabling more efficient communication between the terminal and vessel crew during operations. For inland barges, the terminal is using VOW (pre-arrival announcement) and CDNI (Convention for the Collection, Deposit, and Reception of Waste generated during navigation on the Rhine) processes, significantly reducing paperwork while enhancing environmental standards. The digitisation of these processes minimises human error, improves sustainability, and boosts overall safety at both terminals.

The integration of UAB-Online marks a major advancement in the modernisation of Standic’s operations. This SaaS platform streamlines the pre-arrival process, allowing for real-time coordination and quicker decision-making between the terminals and the vessels or barges.

About Standic Dordrecht and Antwerp Standic operates advanced terminals in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, and Antwerp, Belgium, both located in key European ports. Standic Dordrecht is a leader in the storage of chemicals, biofuels, and oil products, offering extensive storage capacity and modern infrastructure.
