Vallourec has signed a two-year extension to its 2019 contract with the National Oil Company of Abu Dhabi, originally valued at approximately USD 900 million. Effective from January 2025 to January 2027, Vallourec will continue supplying a comprehensive range of tubes and connections for both conventional and complex applications in onshore and offshore oil and gas fields.
The extension not only prolongs the contract but also expands its scope to include new services. These additions feature local pipe coating and Vallourec’s innovative digital solutions, such as Tallyvision, which enhances installation operations through full traceability for each tube. The customer will also continue to benefit from Vallourec’s state-of-the-art yard, equipped with a 100 percent digital management system.
Under the extended agreement, Vallourec has secured a significant order for the supply of 27,000 tonnes of tubes. These products will be manufactured at Vallourec plants in France, Brazil, China, and Indonesia, leveraging the Group’s strategic premium production hubs. Deliveries are scheduled to commence at the end of 2024. Furthermore, Vallourec will support its customer with its VAM® Field Service on-site assistance offering.
