Zeebrugge LNG terminal now offers flexible LNG storage

Users of Zeebrugge’s Fluxys Terminal now have the ability to book Residual Storage Capacity: LNG storage capacity on a daily basis. 

 

“The new service makes it possible to unload larger LNG volumes and store them over a longer period of time. This allows for more flexibility to regasify LNG and send it to the grid or to reload LNG onto small LNG vessels, LNG trucks or LNG containers at a later time,” said Fluxys.

 

The available Residual Storage Capacity for a given month is published online over one month in advance and can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis up to two business days before the month of service.
