Tecam said it is promoting its commitment to a sustainable industry by obtaining a new ISO certificate: Environmental Management ISO 14001.

In line with its core of action, “minimising the environmental footprint in production processes”, Tecam has been accredited as a company committed to the environment in its management with ISO 14001. The certificate arrived hot on the heels of the company’s win in the Environmental Performance category of the Tank Storage Awards 2020.

The ISO 14001 certificate accredits the company’s environmental commitment. It establishes that the company applies environmental regulations in its way of managing itself. It said: “In this way, the ambition for sustainable development at Tecam becomes present in all areas: internal regulations, use of resources, waste management, facilities, environmental impact assessments, etc.”

This certificate, is in line with Tecam’s aim to reduce the environmental impact on industrial production and puts it in line with the UN sustainable development objectives.

Bernat Sala, CEO of Tecam, said: “This certificate recognises Tecam’s commitment to sustainability in the way it does business.”
