The Tank Storage Association has released an online statement to announce it has cancelled the 2020 running of its Tank Storage Conference, which was due to take place in September.

It said: “Due to the global #Covid19 pandemic, the Tank Storage Association has announced today that it has no choice but to make the necessary decision to cancel the 2020 Tank Storage Conference and Exhibition originally scheduled for 24 September 2020.”

The statement continued: “Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our members, exhibitors and attendees is paramount and serves as the reason for our decision. The Tank Storage Conference and Exhibition will return on 23 September 2021 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.”

Peter Davidson, TSA’s Executive Director, said: “It is with great regret that we have had to cancel this year’s conference and exhibition. We have not taken this decision lightly and we understand that it may come as a great disappointment.

“However, with the health, safety and well-being of all involved our number one priority, I am sure you will appreciate that postponing the event is the right thing to do as we make our way through this challenging time. On behalf of the TSA, I would also like to thank our exhibitors, sponsors and delegates for the enormous support they have already shown us. We look forward to welcoming all at TSA 2021, which we will work to make even better than before.”
