Stanlow completes £500k upgrade to three biofuels tanks

Stanlow Terminals Limited has recently completed a £500k upgrade to three of its biofuels tanks for one of its customers, to help support the broadening spectrum of biofuel components.

The upgraded tanks have been relined with a new coating system to provide long term asset protection to extend its longevity and to allow a range of biofuels to be stored, either separately or as a blend.

Stanlow Terminals Limited chief executive officer, Michael Gaynon, said: “These tank modifications will ensure we are able to import and supply a wide range of biofuels to enable the supply to customers for the transition to the new E10 fuel.”
