FPS EXPO returns to Liverpool in May 15-16, marking the start of a year of celebrations as the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Following a very successful show in 2018, FPS EXPO 2019 will again take place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. This gives FPS EXPO the added bonus of having all exhibitors in one exhibition hall and under one roof, with a total exhibition floorspace of over 8100 sqm.

FPS EXPO 2019 is the 39th year of the exhibition and the FPS team are pleased to announce that with 3 months to go, over 75 percent of the available floorspace is booked. This annual event continues to receive serious commitment from all the major suppliers – already over 83 companies from both the UK and Europe have secured their participation including long term exhibitors MAN Truck and Bus Ltd and Elaflex alongside Valero, Phillips 66 Ltd, Cobo UK, Williams Tanker Services Ltd, TankQuip and first-time exhibitors Dipetane International Ltd, The Oil Recycling Association and Miles Macadam to name but a few.  In total FPS EXPO 2019 sees 16 companies exhibiting for the first time.

This year The Federation of Petroleum Suppliers has broadened the scope of FPS EXPO in line with the changes in the industry and are including other relevant trade associations. We have dedicated an area for the use of OFTEC and The Oil Recycling Association (ORA) and their members and there is also an area focusing on renewables (including bio kerosene) giving fuel distributors an opportunity to look at how they can future proof their businesses in a decarbonised future.  We do have limited space left in these new areas and would welcome enquiries from relevant exhibitors.

Running alongside the main exhibition, there will also be ‘Industry Discussion Panels’ – short discussion forums and panel sessions about key topics affecting the fuel distribution industry today. Sessions include; The UK Supply Chain; Clean Growth Strategy; Road to Zero; issues affecting Ireland; truck and road legislation plus driver training and how technology can improve or protect your business.

“Interest in FPS EXPO 2019 has built rapidly. We have grown continuously to become the most important annual event in the liquid fuel distribution industry’s calendar.  The focus for this year’s exhibition is targeting a wider range of businesses from every corner of the fuel distribution industry. As well as equipment, which remains a key area of the show, the specialist exhibition appeals to manufacturers, suppliers and end users from the areas of oil suppliers, tanker manufacturers, oil companies, lubricant companies, fleet operators, petroleum enforcement officers and environmental agencies.

“For companies looking to get their products in front of a host of buyers, FPS EXPO 2019 will offer an ideal opportunity to do just that. It’s about bringing suppliers and buyers together to do business. Furthermore, the exhibition has something to offer all company personnel from directors, through to finance, transport, IT and HR,” says Dawn Shakespeare, Membership & Events Manager for the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers.
