EEMUA’s Asset Integrity Leadership Certificate (AILC) training course is based on EEMUA’s AILC Competency Framework.

Induction for this blended learning course takes approximately two hours and is available from 7 October 2024, after registration. Four Learning Cycles run consecutively commencing in October 2024, requiring approximately three hours of time each Learning Week until the Portfolio of Work is submitted in November 2024. Completing this training course is equivalent to 18.5 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Please note only one person from each member company will be able to attend the pilot of AILC.

An EEMUA AILC Pilot Pass Certificate can be used as an academic credit for the Portfolio of Work part of the first full EEMUA AILC course which will be held in 1H 2025. Payment for the AILC Pilot (if passed) can be offset against the price of the first full AILC course.

Expectations of Learners

  • The course will be held solely online. For the best user experience, Learners will need access to a computer with a large screen and a broadband internet connection.
  • The Learner will be expected to meet the course’s entry requirements to participate in the course.
  • The Learner must abide by the Code of Conduct for the course, including relevant non-disclosure and non-compete commitments.
  • The Learner will need to be proficient in English both written and spoken. For students whose first language is not English, a minimum score of 6.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test is recommended.
  • A basic mathematical ability is assumed.
  • The pilot will involve the preparation and submission of a Portfolio of Work.

Learners’ time commitment

A Learner’s approximate time commitment for the course is estimated to be:

  • Induction: 2 hours to suit working schedules from October 2024.
  • Learning: 3 hours per week for 4 weeks as below
  • Four Learning Cycles, each taking one week and including one hour live online class: 12 hours
  • Portfolio submission 2.5 hours

Approximate Total: 16.5 hours over 6 weeks 

Re-certification

EEMUA will provide a pathway for recertification at five year periods after passing the initial full AILC course.
