Burckhardt Compression’s high-speed compressor will be delivered to Ganzair in Hungary. Designed to inject natural gas from a pipeline to an underground gas storage facility, the ISO 13631 compliant unit is the first high-speed compressor made by the company for this sort of application in Europe.
Manufactured at Shenyang Yuanda Compressor, one of China’s leading compressor manufacturers, (in which Burckhardt Compression owns a 60% stake), the sale of the single-stage compressor marks the global launch of the high-speed product line from Burckhardt. The range covers a wide range of power (from 100 kW to 7.5 MW) and is suitable for different applications for upstream and midstream markets.
